Pathways to a College Experience Program

The Center for Civic Engagement is currently recruiting volunteers to serve as Pathways to College Experiences (PACE) tour guides for PACE Days and short tours! PACE introduces Richmond area middle and elementary school students to the possibility of a college education by offering a comprehensive experience at the University of Richmond campus.

As a “PACER”, you will serve as a tour guide for elementary and middle school students around campus and share about about your own college experience. All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer training prior to their first tour to make ensure they are prepared and equipped to work with our local K-8 students. Once you complete your volunteer training, you will be certified to volunteer with the PACE program throughout the duration of the 2023-24 academic year - we look forward to working with you!
